My Holy Grail is a community-driven beauty discovery platform built on trust, authenticity, and shared passion. These guidelines help us keep our space welcoming, safe, and genuinely useful for everyone. By using the Service, you agree to follow these guidelines.

We believe beauty is personal, and the best recommendations come from real people sharing real experiences. To protect that, we ask every member to uphold the standards below.

1. Be Respectful and Kind

Our community is made up of people from all backgrounds, skin types, and beauty journeys. Treat every member the way you’d want to be treated.

  • No harassment, bullying, or personal attacks. Disagreements about products are fine; disrespect toward people is not.

  • No hate speech or discrimination. Content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic will be removed and may result in a permanent ban.

  • Be constructive. If you disagree with someone’s review or recommendation, share your own experience instead of tearing theirs down.

  • Respect privacy. Do not share other members’ personal information, photos, or private messages without their consent.

2. Keep It Authentic

Authenticity is what makes My Holy Grail valuable. Our community relies on honest, first-hand experiences.

  • Write honest reviews. Only review products you’ve actually used. Share what worked, what didn’t, and any relevant details like your skin type or concerns.

  • No fake reviews or ratings manipulation. Do not post fabricated reviews, use multiple accounts to inflate or deflate ratings, or coordinate with others to manipulate rankings.

  • Disclose affiliations. If you have a professional or financial relationship with a brand (e.g., you work for them, received free products, or earn commissions), you must clearly disclose this in your review or post.

  • Use your own photos. Only upload images you’ve taken yourself or have the right to use. Do not use stock images, brand marketing materials, or other members’ photos in your reviews.

3. No Spam or Self-Promotion

My Holy Grail is a space for genuine beauty conversation, not advertising.

  • No unsolicited promotion. Do not use the platform to promote your own business, products, affiliate links, discount codes, or services unless the context clearly invites it and you disclose your affiliation.

  • No repetitive or bulk posting. Posting the same content across multiple areas of the app, or flooding the community with similar content, will be treated as spam.

  • No bots or automated accounts. Automated posting, scraping, or other non-human activity is prohibited.

4. Keep Content Appropriate

All content should be suitable for a general audience and relevant to beauty discovery.

  • No explicit or inappropriate content. Do not post sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content that is otherwise inappropriate for the platform.

  • No dangerous advice. Do not recommend practices that could harm someone’s health or safety. If discussing ingredients, treatments, or routines with potential risks, encourage users to consult a professional.

  • Stay on topic. Content should be related to beauty, skincare, personal care, or the community itself. Off-topic posts may be removed.

  • No misinformation. Do not present false claims about products as fact, including fabricated ingredient information or unsubstantiated medical claims.

5. Respect Intellectual Property

  • Do not post content that infringes on someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

  • Do not copy or republish other members’ reviews, photos, or content without their permission.

  • If you believe your intellectual property has been used without authorization on the platform, contact us at support@myholygrail.app.

6. Account Integrity

  • One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate content, or mislead others.

  • No impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, brand, or organization. Your username and profile should not mislead others about your identity.

  • Protect your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your login credentials with others.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

Keeping this community safe is a shared effort. If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it.

What Happens Next

Our team reviews all reports. Depending on the severity and context, actions may include a warning, temporary content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account ban. We aim to be fair and consistent, and we will always consider context.

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these guidelines, at our discretion.

8. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines as our platform evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
